How AI lead response works
The model behind it, what it will and won't do, and how to review its output.
AI lead response sends the first reply to inbound leads within 60 seconds — qualifies them, asks follow-up questions, and books showings when the lead is ready. It's available on Professional and up.
The model
We use Anthropic's Claude for the conversational layer and OpenAI for embedding-based retrieval against your listing data. Both providers are configured with the no-training option — your leads' messages are never used to train any model.
What it does
- Replies in the voice sample you provided during setup
- Asks for price range, timeline, financing status when appropriate
- Books showings against your calendar within windows you define
- Hands off to you the moment the lead asks for a human
What it doesn't do
- Commit to a price or negotiate on your behalf
- Give legal advice or make representations about property condition
- Send anything with a link or attachment it didn't generate itself
- Pretend to be human — 'are you a real person?' always gets an honest answer
