A TRREB VOW website serves the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board’s VOW data feed: sold and leased prices, expired, terminated, suspended and withdrawn listings, and listing history across the GTA and TRREB’s partner regions, shown to visitors who register and sign in. It is the board-specific version of the general VOW model, and for GTA agents it is the one that matters, because TRREB is where their clients’ sold-price questions live. BrokerFold operates TRREB VOWs in production on a direct PropTx feed.
What the TRREB VOW feed contains
More than most agents expect. Beyond active listings, the VOW lane carries the off-market universe: closed sales and leases with their prices, plus expired, terminated, suspended and withdrawn records. It also carries more fields and more listings than TRREB’s IDX lane, so a signed-in visitor gets a deeper view even of the active market. At the time of writing (July 2026) the active TRREB market alone runs past 120,000 listings; the off-market layer behind it is what turns a listing site into a research destination.
One boundary worth knowing: some feed fields are licensed for internal use and must never render publicly, and a compliant platform keeps them ingest-only. What your visitors see is the displayable subset, not a raw database dump.
How BrokerFold serves TRREB data
This is first-hand infrastructure, not a white-label reseller layer:
- Direct feed. BrokerFold is a registered PropTx vendor pulling TRREB data over the AMPRE RESO Web API, the board’s current distribution platform, on IDX, VOW and DLA agreements.
- Minutes-fresh sync. Property and media pipelines run continuously around the clock. Status changes, the thing consumers notice most when stale, propagate on a minutes scale, not the half-day cadence older integrations settle for.
- Our own image infrastructure. Listing photos are mirrored to BrokerFold’s CDN and converted to fast web formats. Nothing on a tenant site hot-links a board server, which is both a performance choice and a display-rules requirement.
- Completeness gating. A listing does not appear on your site until its details, geocoding and photos have fully arrived, so visitors never hit half-hydrated cards.
The registered-visitor experience on TRREB data
Anonymous visitors browse active listings freely. The moment they touch sold territory, a sold search, a sold detail page, a price history, they hit the wall: a locked card with a blurred preview and a free account prompt. After registering (with the click-wrap terms step TRREB requires) they see the sold layer in full. BrokerFold enforces TRREB’s 90-day password validity automatically: expiry warnings go out ahead of time, renewal is a code-verified self-serve flow, and a lapsed password re-locks sold data without touching the account. The Ontario-wide walkthrough of this experience is on show sold prices in Ontario.
Getting TRREB VOW access as an agent
The agreement is signed online through PropTx’s data agreements portal. As your technology provider we initiate and authorize the paperwork; your broker of record approves it; PropTx processes it and registers your site’s URL. Elapsed time is typically days to a couple of weeks, and almost all of it is the human approval steps, so warning your broker ahead of time is the single best accelerator. No coding, no feed management, no server anywhere in your job description.
Who a TRREB VOW website is for
- GTA buyer-side agents whose clients ask “what did it go for?” weekly. The answer can live on your domain instead of a portal’s.
- Listing agents using sold comparables to win pricing conversations, with the interactive version available to every registered prospect.
- Teams feeding a follow-up process: each registration arrives in the built-in CRM with the visitor’s search behaviour attached.
- Agents outside the GTA core: TRREB’s footprint spans well beyond Toronto proper, and board coverage across Canada explains how BrokerFold treats markets beyond TRREB honestly.
Any BrokerFold template runs the full TRREB VOW stack identically; design choice never changes the compliance behaviour.
