Switching plans mid-cycle
How upgrades and downgrades are prorated, and what happens to your data when you change tiers.
You can switch plans at any time. Changes take effect immediately and are prorated on your next invoice.
Upgrades
New features unlock the moment the plan changes. The prorated difference (cost of the new plan for the remainder of the billing period, minus what you already paid for the old plan) gets added to your next invoice.
Downgrades
Your current plan's features stay active until the end of the billing period; the new plan takes effect at renewal. No refunds for the unused portion of the old plan.
What happens to feature-specific data
Content and data created on a higher tier stay in place if you downgrade — they're read-only until you upgrade again. You don't lose blog posts, contacts, or listings.
