TRREB IDX website

A TRREB IDX website puts the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board’s active listings on your own domain under the board’s display rules, and its entire value depends on how the vendor built the feed. BrokerFold is a direct TRREB data consumer: we poll the board’s RESO Web API feed every 15 minutes, mirror every photo onto our own CDN, and publish a listing to your site only when it is complete, with details, geocoding, and images all in place. Here is what that means for your site in practice, and what to check before buying any TRREB integration.
Built on the board’s modern feed
TRREB distributes data through RESO Web API infrastructure, the modern standard that replaced the old RETS downloads, and BrokerFold’s data plane runs against it as a licensed vendor with our own board agreements. That matters to you for one practical reason: the integration is first-party. There is no middleware vendor between your website and the board’s feed, no plugin translating someone else’s translation, and when TRREB evolves its feed, we adapt our own pipeline rather than waiting on a chain of suppliers. The sync runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, covering new listings, price changes, and status changes alike, so a terminated listing leaves your site on the same cadence a new one arrives.
Listings publish complete or not at all
Most feed integrations race raw records onto the page, which is why you have seen listing pages with no photos, or pins in the wrong lake. BrokerFold gates publication on completeness: a new TRREB listing goes live on your site only after its details are ingested, its address geocodes to real coordinates for map search, and its photographs are mirrored and processed into fast web formats on our own infrastructure. Until then it simply is not visible. Buyers never meet a half-loaded page, your map never lies, and every image request on your site is served from our CDN rather than hot-linked from board servers, which keeps you on the right side of media rules without thinking about it.
Toronto MLS listings on your website
For a GTA agent the practical question is usually blunter: can my site carry Toronto listings the way the big portals do? With a TRREB membership and a BrokerFold site, yes: full active inventory across the board’s coverage area, searchable by map, neighbourhood, and the filters buyers actually use, on your domain with your branding and your capture forms. The condo towers, the freeholds, the leases: if it is in the board’s authorized feed, it is searchable on your site, minutes fresh. What the IDX feed does not include — and TRREB’s rules do not allow an IDX site to show — is sold history, and in the GTA that is exactly the data buyers crave. That is the VOW’s job, covered board by board on our TRREB VOW page, and it is included in every BrokerFold plan alongside the IDX.
What it looks like on your domain
Feed quality is invisible until you see it rendered, so we keep the evidence public. Every BrokerFold template demo runs live TRREB data right now, from grid search to map clustering to listing detail pages, at /templates. For the design side of a Toronto practice, including what the city’s live inventory numbers imply for an agent site, see realtor website design in Toronto. And the wider context, including how direct feeds compare with DDF syndication for Canadian sites generally, is on IDX websites Canada.
What a TRREB IDX website costs here
TRREB’s feed is included in every BrokerFold plan, from $89 CAD/month Solo Agent to Brokerage from $999, with no setup fee and a 14-day trial that needs no credit card. That price is the whole system: the IDX search, the VOW with sold prices, the CRM, the visual editor, and a custom domain. Plans are month-to-month and published to the dollar on the pricing page. If a competing quote is cheaper, ask it the five questions from our IDX overview, starting with how often the TRREB feed syncs and where the photos serve from; the answers are usually where the price difference lives.
