Lead routing modes explained
Round-robin, shark-tank, by area, and by source — when each one makes sense.
When a lead hits a team, BrokerFold routes it based on the rule you've picked. There's no 'best' mode — it depends on how your team sells.
Round-robin
Leads rotate through team members in order. Fair, predictable, easiest to explain. Works well when all agents are at similar experience levels.
Shark-tank (first-claim)
The lead is visible to every team member; the first to claim gets it. Favours responsiveness over fairness. Good for competitive teams where hustle is rewarded.
By area
Leads route based on the neighbourhood or postal code in the lead data. Best for teams where each agent has a defined farm area.
By source
Leads route based on where they came from (Facebook, Zillow, referral partner). Good when specific agents own specific channels.
