Building your first automation
A template for the most valuable automation most solo agents build first: inbound lead triage.
Automations in BrokerFold are triggered by CRM events — new lead, stage change, status change on a listing — and run a sequence of actions: send an email, schedule a text, assign a task, update a field.
The first automation worth building
- Trigger: Lead captured (any source)
- Action: Send SMS via AI lead response, with a 60-second confidence threshold
- Action (conditional on no reply in 30 min): Assign task to you — 'Personal call required'
- Action (conditional on AI booking): Create calendar hold for the proposed showing time
- Action: Tag the contact with the source (Facebook, Zillow, referral)
Why this specific chain
It handles the fast case (AI gets a reply, books a showing) and the slow case (no reply — you get a human task) without forking into a second automation. Start here; add to it as you see where leads actually fall off.
