BrokerFold is live. Canadian real estate agents can sign up today, pick a designed template, connect their board data, and run their website, CRM, and marketing from one product with published CAD pricing. This post is the launch marker: what exists as of today, the reasoning behind the build, and what comes next — written down now so we can be held to it later.

What shipped

Four things, deliberately as one product rather than four integrations. Designed website templates with a visual editor a non-technical agent can drive alone — every template has a live demo you can browse before committing. A real MLS data plane: live TRREB listings with map search, saved searches, and alerts, synced every fifteen minutes, with photos served from our own infrastructure and sold data available behind a compliant VOW registration wall. A built-in CRM where every form fill and visitor registration lands with the visitor’s browsing behaviour attached — routing, nurture plans, Gmail sync, and visitor chat included. And market-data surfaces — neighbourhood pages, valuation landing pages, market reports — generated from the same live feed. The full picture lives on the platform page.

Why we built it

Because the standard Canadian agent stack is a tax. A website from one vendor, an IDX plugin from a second, a CRM from a third, email tools from a fourth — each with its own bill, its own login, and its own copy of the truth, wired together with brittle integrations. The data that should be the agent’s advantage (what did this lead look at? when did they come back?) falls into the gaps between products. And most of the market’s software is American: built for other boards’ rules, other privacy law, and priced in USD. We wanted the boring, obvious thing — one Canadian product where the website and the CRM share a single data plane — and could not find it built properly, so we built it. Our criteria for judging any platform, including this one, are laid out in the Canadian platform comparison.

The rules are the product

The deepest decision in the build is invisible: compliance is enforced by machinery, not by promises. Listings appear only when complete — photos mirrored, location resolved. Board photo servers are never hotlinked; our build fails automatically if a vendor image URL reaches a page. VOW access is gated, logged append-only, and passwords expire on each board’s clock. Canadian anti-spam consent is recorded per contact. None of this is a feature an agent clicks; all of it is the reason an agent can sleep.

What comes next

More boards, same discipline. TRREB is live in production today. The Vancouver-area tri-board build — Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley, and Chilliwack on one shared MLS — is complete and moving through production approval, with its stricter display rules already implemented. Beyond that: deeper market analytics, more templates, and whatever working agents ask for loudest. Plans start at $89 CAD monthly, everything is on the pricing page, and the trial takes fourteen days and no credit card. If you build your business on your own name, we built this for you.

Hold us to this

Launch posts age badly when they overpromise, so we will keep this one auditable. The prices named above are the prices on the site today. The compliance guarantees are enforced by failing builds, not by policy documents. The boards we claim are the boards that are actually live, and the ones in progress are labelled in progress. When any of that changes, this post gets a dated correction rather than a quiet edit — because a platform asking agents to build their business on it should expect to be checked against its own launch notes, and we intend to make that checking easy.

Frequently asked questions

Which MLS boards does BrokerFold support at launch?

TRREB is live in production, with IDX and VOW display under each member's own board agreement. Our Vancouver-area tri-board integration is built and moving through production approval, and further boards follow the same pattern.

Can I try it without talking to anyone?

Yes — the 14-day trial needs no credit card and no call. Pick a template, edit it yourself, and browse the live demos first if you want to see finished sites before starting.
