myRealPage and BrokerFold are both Canadian and both put board listings on an agent’s own website, which is where the similarity ends. myRealPage is a focused website vendor: one flat published price, an easy builder, a WordPress IDX plugin, and no contracts. BrokerFold is a platform: the website plus VOW sold-price search plus a built-in CRM, priced in tiers. This comparison is less “which vendor is better” and more “which category do you need.”
What myRealPage does well
Simplicity and price discipline. Their site lists a single package at $69.99 a month plus taxes and board fees for certain boards — one number, everything included, cancel anytime with no minimum term. The offering covers agent websites, a broker suite for offices, a WordPress plugin for agents who want listings inside an existing site, MLS search with maps, unlimited pages, lead-capture tools, and extras like an auto newsletter and landing pages. For a long-established Canadian vendor, the terms are refreshingly clean: no setup fee mentioned, no contract, and the site stays live until the end of your billing period if you cancel.
Who myRealPage genuinely suits
Agents who want a professional presence with listings at the lowest predictable cost, and who either do not need a CRM or already run one they like. Brokerages standardizing a fleet of agent sites on a budget. And WordPress loyalists who want a feed dropped into a site they control — a use case BrokerFold deliberately does not serve, since we build the whole stack rather than a plugin. If that describes you, the honest answer is that the flat fee is hard to argue with; the broader field is covered in IDX websites in Canada.
What BrokerFold does differently
The gap is everything that happens after the visitor arrives. On BrokerFold, sold-price search is the conversion engine: sold listings sit behind a registration wall with blurred previews, TRREB’s VOW password rules are automated end to end, and every registrant becomes a CRM contact carrying a live behaviour timeline — what they viewed, favourited, and searched. Leads route to seats with claim and round-robin mechanics, nurture plans run on consent-aware rails, Gmail syncs to contact records, and visitors can message you through built-in chat. The data plane is ours: a direct TRREB feed in production, minutes-fresh updates, images on our own CDN, and listings held back until fully hydrated. Plans are published in CAD from $89 to $999 monthly with a 14-day free trial and no credit card — the $89 solo tier is $19 more than myRealPage’s flat fee, and the delta buys the VOW and CRM layers.

If you switch
Moves between website vendors succeed or fail on mechanics. Keep the domain registered in your own name, inventory your current URLs, and 301-map each one to its successor before DNS changes. Board data access is re-papered under the new provider — for TRREB that is an online approval flow measured in days, mostly waiting on human sign-offs. Content is the quiet cost: pages rebuilt in a new editor take an afternoon with a plan and a week without one. BC agents weighing a move should also read our position on realtor websites in BC — our tri-board data layer for Greater Vancouver is built, with production approval in progress, and we say so plainly rather than claiming live BC sites today.
Frequently asked questions
Is myRealPage's $69.99 plan enough for a working agent?
For many agents, yes. If what you need is a presentable site with board listings, lead-capture forms, and unlimited pages at a predictable flat fee, it is a rational purchase and the no-contract terms keep your exit clean. The price gap to a platform only earns itself back if you will actually use sold-data search and a CRM.
Does myRealPage include a CRM?
Their public materials centre on websites, listing tools, and lead-capture features rather than a full CRM — pipeline management, automated nurture, and behaviour tracking are not the pitch. If you run your database in a separate CRM today, that stack works; if you want the website and CRM as one system, that is the architectural difference this page is about.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I move off myRealPage?
Not if the move is done properly: keep your domain, map every old URL to its new equivalent with 301 redirects, and preserve your page content and titles through the migration. Rankings follow the domain and the redirects, not the vendor.
